Southeast Los Angeles Support Groups-Caregivers
Caring for someone who is seriously ill can be very tiring. Most caregivers feel selfish if they think of themselves, especially in light of the trials their loved one is facing. But if the caregiver does not get help and support, s/he may get sick as well and then who will care for the patient? Meeting with others who are in the same position, who know the trials and the heartaches, and the joys and triumphs--not to mention helpful tips for making life easier--can do wonders for your ability to keep providing care. You may also want to look at the support groups listed for your care receiver's condition. The groups listed here are non-disease specific.
